Scott McDonald

Scott McDonald, CPA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Credit Union 1 since July 2019 and has held the position of Adjunct Accounting Instructor at Macomb Community College since January 2010. Previous roles include Accounting Manager at Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union from October 2004 to July 2019, and Lending Consultant/Senior Auditor at Doeren Mayhew from October 1999 to March 2003, where responsibilities included overseeing audit services and providing consulting to financial institutions. Earlier experience includes serving as Manager of Member Services and Loans at SOC Credit Union from May 1993 to October 1999. Scott holds an M.S.P.A in Accounting from Walsh College and a B.S.A. in Finance from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
