Credo AI
Eli Sherman is a member of the Research Staff at Credo AI, focusing on AI governance within an AI Governance Research Team, and has contributed to the development of an open-source ML evaluation package, Lens. Previously, Eli volunteered with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to support the development of a generative AI profile for the NIST AI Risk Management Framework. As a Research Mentor at Polygence, Eli guided high school students in independent research projects on applied machine learning in various domains. Eli's academic background includes a PhD and a Master of Science in Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, along with a Bachelor of Science with Honors from the University of Michigan. Experience also includes roles as a research intern at IBM and Adobe, and positions involving software engineering and research assistance focused on healthcare and machine learning applications.
