David Peoples has a diverse and extensive work experience in marketing and product management. David is currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing at Cree LED starting from March 2021. Prior to this, they held various positions at Cree, including Vice President of Marketing for Cree LEDs (October 2020 - March 2021), Director of Marketing for XLamp (February 2019 - October 2020), Manager of Product Management (September 2015 - October 2020), and Senior Product Manager (May 2011 - August 2015). Before joining Cree, David worked as a Marketing Manager at NXP Semiconductors from March 2010 to June 2011. David also has experience at Cree as a Product Marketing Manager from December 2007 to March 2010 and as a Process Engineer from February 2006 to December 2007. Additionally, David was the President and Co-Founder of Echonnect in 2004.
David Peoples received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from North Carolina State University in the year 2004. David then pursued their Master of Business Administration degree in International Business from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, completing it between the years 2008 and 2010.
