AJ Burts is a Completion Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently employed at Crescent Energy since July 2024. Prior to this role, AJ worked as a Completion Engineer at SilverBow Resources from November 2021 to November 2024 and at Pioneer Natural Resources Company from January 2017 to December 2021. AJ's career began at Kiewit Offshore Services as an Engineer 1 in late 2016 and included a position as a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens from January 2015 to May 2016. AJ also gained valuable experience as an intern at Summit Midstream Partners, LP in the summer of 2014. AJ holds degrees in Petroleum Engineering and Mathematics from Texas Tech University, completed in 2016, and previously attended the University of Houston for studies in Petroleum Engineering from 2011 to 2013.
