CTO at CRFS

Alistair Massarella has an extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Currently, they are serving as a Cambridge Angel since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at CRFS, where they were the CTO and Co-Founder of the company. During their time at CRFS, they played a significant role in designing and manufacturing the RFeye, a next-generation radio spectrum intelligence equipment. Before joining CRFS, Alistair co-founded CBNL in 2000. Alistair also co-founded Adaptive Broadband Ltd in 1997, where they designed the AB-MAX fixed broadband wireless access equipment. Alistair's early career included a position as Deputy Base Commander / SHARE Radar Experiment Manager at the British Antarctic Survey from 1993 to 1996.

Alistair Massarella obtained their PhD and Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology from Huddersfield Polytechnic. Alistair pursued their education at the institution from 1985 until 1992.
