Nick Balon

CEO at CRFS

Nick Balon began their work experience in 1991 at ICI plc, where they held various roles until 2000. NICK then worked as the Director of Acquisitions & New Ventures at Ineos Fluor from 2000 to 2002. From 2002 to 2008, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Xennia Technology Ltd, leading its commercial and corporate development. NICK successfully facilitated its trade sale to TenCate Plc. In 2009, they became the Commercial Director at Ann Balon Ltd and a Business Angel at Cambridge Angels, where they engaged in angel investing, mentoring, and consulting in the technology sector. Finally, in 2011, they became the Chief Executive Officer at CRFS.

Nick Balon completed their education at Yale University, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Soviet & East European Studies. NICK attended Yale from 1988 to 1990. Prior to that, from 1983 to 1987, they studied at the University of Oxford and earned a Bachelor of Arts Joint Honours degree, specializing in Modern Languages.
