Eldho Choorackal

Eldho Choorackal is an accomplished professional in civil engineering, currently serving as a Performance Improvement Manager at CRH since March 2020, with prior roles as Technical Program Manager for Low CO2 Concrete and Laboratory Specialist at the Innovation Centre for Sustainable Construction. Eldho's experience includes a Ph.D. research project at Politecnico di Torino focused on the development of self-compacting cement bound mixtures for pavement foundations, notably contributing to the Frejus tunnel project. Additional research experience includes investigating macrocell corrosion in concrete at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and conducting studies on cementitious anodes for cathodic protection at the Central Building Research Institute in India. Early career experience includes teaching civil engineering subjects at KMEA Engineering College and supervising construction works as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at KEC International Ltd. Eldho holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, along with an MTech in Building Engineering and Disaster Mitigation and a BE in Civil Engineering.
