Samuel Trout

Samuel Trout is a seasoned mobile engineer with a strong background in iOS development. Currently serving as the Lead iOS Mobile Engineer at Cricut since April 2023, Samuel previously held the position of Mobile Dev Team Lead at tZERO Group, Inc., where responsibilities included managing a software engineering team and overseeing project feature scoping. Samuel's expertise encompasses architecting user-focused iOS applications, integrating advanced technologies such as watchOS, ARKit, and various payment processors, as well as mentoring students in mobile development as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Utah. Samuel holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah and an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Utah State University Eastern.
