Parin Sripakdeevong is a PhD holder in Biophysics with extensive experience in computational biology and bioinformatics. Since June 2017, Parin has held various leadership roles at CRISPR Therapeutics, including Director of Genomics and Computational Biology, and has played a key role in advancing gene-based medicines utilizing the CRISPR/Cas9 platform, focusing on treatments for hemoglobinopathies and cancer. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Computational Biologist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where Parin developed methods for identifying mutation hotspots in breast cancer datasets, and as a Bioinformatics Scientist and Technical Lead at Personalis, Inc., responsible for high-performance algorithms for genomic data analysis. Parin completed a PhD in Biophysics at Stanford University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Mathematics from Carleton College.
