Acting Executive Director, Critical Path For Alzheimer's Disease at Critical Path Institute (C-Path)

Diane Stephenson has over four decades of extensive experience in neurobiology and drug development, currently serving as Executive Director of the Critical Path for Parkinson's at the Critical Path Institute since 2011, where efforts focus on accelerating therapies for Parkinson's disease. Previous roles include Acting Director of the Huntington's Disease Regulatory Science Consortium and Executive Director of the Coalition Against Major Diseases, both aiming to foster collaboration among stakeholders to advance drug development. Prior to their tenure at C-Path, Diane held positions at Pfizer Global Research and Development, Pharmacia Corporation, and Lilly Neuroscience, where research concentrated on neurodegenerative disorders and autism spectrum disorders. Diane holds a Ph.D. in Medical Neurobiology from the Department of Medical Neurobiology and a B.A. in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from UC Santa Barbara.
