Vijay Talwar has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and industries. Vijay is currently serving as the Chief Business Officer at Croma, a position they assumed in July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Tata Digital as the SVP and Head, starting in June 2021. Between 2019 and 2021, Vijay held the role of Vice President - Retail and Category Management at TIKI Corporation, where they were responsible for the retail business in Vietnam. From 2012 to 2019, they had various roles at Amazon, including Business Leader - Electronics and General Manager - Amazon Devices, where they played a pivotal role in building and managing the Kindle, Echo, and Fire TV businesses in India. Prior to joining Amazon, Vijay worked at Macmillan India Ltd as the Head of Corporate Strategy & New Business, driving investment and divestment strategies. Vijay also worked at Modi Group Of Industries as the General Manager of Corporate Development, collaborating with the chairman and board of directors to identify growth opportunities in the consumer goods and pharmaceutical sectors across multiple regions. Before that, they started their career at EY as a Senior Consultant.
Vijay Talwar completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honors in Economics and Accounts from St. Xavier's College from 1995 to 1998. Vijay then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management with a focus on Finance and Strategy from BIRLA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY (BIMTECH) from 1998 to 2000.
In addition to their formal education, Vijay Talwar obtained a certification in "Ram Charan on Coaching High Potentials" from LinkedIn in July 2019.
