Matan Rahav

Matan Rahav has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matan started their career in 2004 with the Israel Defense Forces, where they served as a Liaison and Foreign Relations NCO. In this role, they hosted and accompanied senior military and defense officials of different nationalities, coordinated activities derived from the IDF's foreign relations, and trained course for NCO's.

In 2014, Rahav joined The Hebrew University of Jerusalem as a Teaching Assistant, where they designed course layouts and taught theoretical and practical physics courses to B.Sc. students for three consecutive semesters.

From 2016 to 2018, Rahav worked at the Israel Innovation Authority as a National Contact Point and Program Manager.

Matan then transitioned to CropX Technologies LTD, where they held various roles. Matan started as a Business Development Manager from December 2018 to December 2019, then became a Director of Business Development from December 2019 to August 2022. Currently, Rahav holds the position of VP Business Development since August 2022.

In addition to their professional roles, Rahav is also a member of the BizDevExec Club since March 2021.

Matan Rahav obtained a Management Essentials degree from Harvard Business School in 2021. Prior to that, they completed their M.Sc. magna cum laude in Soil and Water Sciences at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2014 to 2016. Matan also holds a B.Sc. cum laude in Geology and Environmental Sciences, which they earned from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2010 to 2013.
