Malcolm Bethea

Malcolm Bethea's work experience includes serving as a Controls Engineer at Cross Company since July 2016, where they design hydraulic and electronic control systems for mobile equipment. Malcolm worked as an Instructor at North Carolina A&T State University from August 2004, teaching engineering and technology courses and developing laboratory exercises. In 2014, they worked as an Application Engineer at Envirotrol, providing project management and support for building management systems. Malcolm also served as a Faculty Intern at Cummins Inc. in 2011. From 1999 to 2003, they worked as a Systems Programmer at North Carolina A&T State University. Prior to that, they were a Product Engineer at Takata from 1997 to 1999, managing various aspects of airbag module manufacturing. Malcolm began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Charleston Naval Shipyard from August 1982 to July 1989, providing engineering support for submarine overhaul and developing procedures for HVAC system refurbishment.

Malcolm Bethea pursued their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2001 to 2004 at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
