Drew Friedberg is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in private credit and strategic lending. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Direct Lending at Cross River since 2021, Drew leads a group that provides asset-backed financing solutions to fintech companies and investors. Previously, as a Principal at Cigon LLC, Drew has also held positions at Aksia as a Senior Associate in Private Credit, where expertise in executing corporate, real estate, and specialty finance investments was developed. Additional experience includes a Fellowship at Impact Amplifier, assisting startup founders in South Africa with finance and growth strategies, as well as an Analyst role at Hamilton Lane, focusing on private equity and venture capital investments. Drew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bucknell University.
