Rik Wuts

Rik Wuts is an accomplished founder and director with extensive experience in renewable energy and agriculture. Currently, Rik Wuts leads Drylands Farms, focusing on climate-resilient, high-yield agriculture in emerging markets, while also serving as Head of Telecom Solutions at CrossBoundary, advancing renewable energy initiatives across Africa. As a Senior Advisor to the Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa, Rik Wuts contributes to mini-grid projects and energy solutions. Previous roles include Co-Founder and VP of Business Development at Powerhive, Owner of Zaft, and Marketing Director at Intivation, demonstrating a strong background in innovation, strategy, and off-grid utility development. Rik Wuts holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Product Design and a Bachelor’s in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology.
