Lucy Ofiesh has a diverse range of work experience in various leadership roles. Lucy most recently worked as the Director of Finance and Operations at Crossref since December 2019. Before that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at the Center for Open Science from November 2017 to December 2019. Prior to that, they were the Executive Vice President at the Brooklyn Children's Museum from June 2014 to December 2017. Lucy also held the position of Interim Director at Bubble Foundation Limited from October 2013 to June 2014. Additionally, they have experience at the Children's Museum of the Arts, where they served in multiple roles, including Deputy Director and Director of Development & Marketing.
Lucy Ofiesh attended Columbia University from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nonprofit Management. Prior to that, they studied at New York University from 2001 to 2005, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History and Art History.
