Becky Cheek

Becky Cheek, PHR has extensive experience in human resources, starting with their role as Regional HR Generalist at The Gund Company from September 2011 to June 2015. During this time, they oversaw HR responsibilities for the Chicagoland and Milwaukee locations, providing excellent service and establishing professional relationships with employees.

Following this, they worked at Dawn Foods Global as an HR Generalist/Office Manager from June 2015 to April 2018. Becky managed the customer service department, assisted sales representatives, and monitored daily functions to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Becky then advanced to the position of Regional HR Generalist II at Dawn Foods Global from April 2018 to September 2018, where they serviced eight centers in the East Region, focusing on recruiting and retaining CDL Drivers while also coaching employee relations and addressing personnel issues.

Becky then transitioned to Point Medical Corporation as a Human Resources Manager from September 2018 to September 2019. Afterwards, they joined Dawn Foods Global again, this time as a Human Resources Manager from September 2019 to May 2020.

Most recently, Becky has been working at Crossroads YMCA as the Director of Human Resources since May 2020. Becky has taken on the additional role of Vice President of People and Culture since June 2022.

Becky Cheek, PHR received their Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Purdue University Northwest in the year 2010. In January 2015, they obtained the Professional of Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Additionally, Becky's education history shows they have an OSHA 10 Hour General Industry certification, although the institution and specific details of its obtainment are not provided.
