Mitchell Renton began their career in 2008 as a Web Designer at Cellardoor Design, where they gained experience through self-study and offering their services for free to friends and family. In 2010, they worked as an Interactive Designer at Hutchhouse Ltd., learning the importance of research in the product development process.

From 2012 to 2014, Renton served as a Senior UX Designer and User Experience Lead at Adecco Group, where they worked on building a global recruitment platform and faced challenges in solving problems for multiple business units with competing business models. Mitchell also learned the value of usability testing in gaining end-user insight.

In 2016, Renton briefly worked as a Senior UX Designer at ZUUM, focusing on creating a two-sided marketplace for private aviation, which allowed him to gain a holistic view of the industry.

In 2017, Renton joined crowdhouse.ch as a Senior UX Designer and later transitioned to the role of Product Manager. During their time at Crowdhouse, they helped integrate UX into the development process and tested a new product idea in the market. Mitchell also gained skills in user story mapping, design sprints, KPI dashboards, and qualitative analysis.

Mitchell Renton attended Leeds Beckett University from 2002 to 2006 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honors degree in Business Information Technology. In addition, Mitchell obtained a certification as a Sitecore Certified Technology Specialist from Sitecore in May 2014.
