Chris Lawson

Chris Lawson is an experienced research manager with a robust background in fertilizer market analysis and agricultural science. Since November 2014, Chris has led a global team of 25 analysts at CRU, focusing on nitrogen, phosphate, potash, and sulphur markets, with a particular emphasis on the phosphates portfolio. Prior experience includes roles as a market analyst at the International Grains Council and a research officer at SARDI, where Chris contributed to projects enhancing farm water use efficiency. Chris’s foundational expertise is supported by academic qualifications from the University of Adelaide, holding a Graduate Diploma in Ag Business and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sciences.
