Priy Werrij has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Priy started their career as a Software Engineer at Crunchr in 2014, where they worked on designing and developing software solutions for HR data analysis. Priy later transitioned to the role of Software Engineer & Technical Project Manager, where they were responsible for researching new ideas, designing software, and managing projects.
In 2016, Priy completed an internship at Amazon Logistics as an Operations Research Scientist Intern. During this time, they focused on creating a scalable platform for designing models and optimizing performance in transportation networks. Priy successfully delivered a deployable software package during their internship.
In addition to their technical roles, Priy also had experience in teaching. Priy worked as a Teaching Assistant for programming courses at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 2011 to 2014. Priy'sresponsibilities included preparing course materials, delivering lectures, reviewing code, and marking exams.
Lastly, Priy served as the Chairman of Study Association STORM in 2013.
Currently, Priy holds the position of VP Engineering at Crunchr, where they lead the Engineering department, translates business goals into engineering roadmaps, and contributes hands-on as part of the DevOps team to enhance the engineering experience.
Priy Werrij has a strong educational background in business analytics and computer science. They obtained their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Analytics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) in the years 2014-2017. Prior to that, Priy completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Analytics at the same university from 2010-2014.
In terms of additional certifications, Priy holds a Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) from Cambridge English Language Assessment, which was obtained in December 2009. They also have a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from the same institution, obtained in June 2008. Furthermore, Priy holds a European International Orientation Course Certificate from Mendelcollege, obtained in June 2008.
