Gilad Ronat has a diversified work experience in the field of iOS engineering. Gilad is currently working as a Senior iOS Engineer at Crunchyroll since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Ontada from 2020 to 2023, where they developed and architected the mobile version of iKnowMed, an electronic healthcare records app for oncologists. In this role, they focused on SwiftUI and Combine practices to improve data flow.
Before Ontada, Gilad worked as a Freelance iOS Developer from 2012 to 2020, where they collaborated with private clients to refine and iterate upon iOS app concepts and designs. Gilad also did prototyping and user experience improvement through private testing. As a one-man development team, they worked remotely with clients under NDA.
From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Realm Inc as a Transcriber & Editor, where they synced slides, transcribed, and edited technical talks from iOS development conferences. Gilad also served as an editor, wrote talk abstracts, tweets, and Facebook descriptions to be shared in the development community.
In 2016, Gilad worked at Intuit as an Intern iOS Developer. Gilad contributed to the development of QuickBooks Self-Employed for iOS, focusing on improving security and developer-facing APIs. Gilad also enhanced first-time use screens, introductions, and tutorials to increase the retention rate of new users.
Gilad Ronat began pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2015. Gilad continued their studies at the university until 2017.
