Jasmine L Hankey has a diverse work experience in technical writing and editing roles. Jasmine L started their career as a Writing Tutor at the University of Idaho, where they provided one-on-one writing support to students. Jasmine L then worked as an Editing Intern at Washington State University Press, gaining experience in various departments and editing projects.

Jasmine went on to work as a Writing Instructor at the University of Nevada-Reno, where they taught and guided students in their writing process. Jasmine L also served as the Office Manager for the Gender, Race, and Identity Department, managing administrative tasks and streamlining office procedures.

Jasmine L then joined Yardi as a Technical Writer, documenting software products. After that, Jasmine worked at Coupa Software as a Technical Writer, responsible for documenting various products and leading 508 compliance efforts. Jasmine L also served as a peer mentor for new hires and as a Pillar Leader of the Empower Women's ERG.

Most recently, Jasmine worked at OB-STATS, Inc. as the Lead Technical Editor, where they edited and formatted scientific manuscripts and created online educational materials.

Jasmine's latest position is as a Senior Technical Writer at Crunchyroll, starting in 2023.

Jasmine L Hankey has a diverse and extensive education history. Jasmine L obtained their Bachelor's Degree in English and Music Performance, General from the University of Idaho, where they attended from 2009 to 2014. Later, they pursued further education at the University of Nevada, Reno, starting in 2014. Jasmine L earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, from 2014 to 2016, they completed a Graduate Certificate in Gender, Race, and Identity from the same institution.

In 2017, Jasmine L Hankey continued their education at the University of Nevada, Reno and obtained a Professional Certificate in Graphics and Design. Jasmine L further expanded their knowledge in project management by obtaining a Professional Certificate in Project Management from the same institution, completing it in 2018.

Furthermore, Jasmine L Hankey has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Jasmine L earned the certifications of Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC™) Foundation from APMG International in August 2020.
