Samantha Co is an experienced product designer with a diverse work history. Samantha most recently worked at Crunchyroll as a Senior Product Designer starting in August 2019. Prior to that, they worked at OurJamz from July 2017 to February 2019, where they played a key role in developing the product from the ground up by providing market and user research, wireframing, sketching, and user testing for both desktop and mobile platforms.
Before their role at OurJamz, Samantha worked as a Freelance Product Designer from January 2017 to February 2019. During this time, they also co-founded Zen Screen, an app to combat screen addiction, where they served as the Co-Founder and Product Designer. Samantha conducted user tests and behavior research on prototypes, collaborated with engineers on front-end and interface design, and contributed to wireframing.
Earlier in their career, Samantha worked as a Mobile UI Designer at Opera Software from April 2014 to January 2017, where they focused on expanding the reach of the mobile web by designing user interfaces and new experiences for mobile devices. Prior to that, they worked as a User Experience Designer at Keycafe from May 2013 and continued their freelance work as a designer from 2006 to 2014.
Samantha Co attended Simon Fraser University from 2006 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interaction Design.
