Crux Product Design
Max Dixon is an experienced engineering professional specializing in applied sciences within the life sciences and medical device sectors. Currently serving as Lead Applied Sciences Engineer at Crux Product Design since January 2020, Max leads the development and implementation of innovative simulation tools. Previous roles include Senior Applied Sciences Engineer and Life Sciences Engineer at the University of Bristol from October 2015 to October 2018, where Max also contributed as a Teaching Assistant for mechanical and aerospace engineering courses. Earlier, Max worked as a Graduate Engineer at Frazer-Nash Consultancy, focusing on numerical verification of foreign object damage in aircraft using Abaqus. Max holds a Master of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy in Advanced Composites, both from the University of Bristol.
