Sean Flaherty

Sean Flaherty is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing engineering and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Manufacturing Engineering at Crye Precision LLC since September 2021, Sean specializes in designing production lines for large teams and developing automated processes that significantly enhance operational efficiency. Prior to this role, Sean was the Director of Research and Development at Rocky Mountain Scientific Laboratory, overseeing diverse project types involving R&D and manufacturing processes. Sean's earlier positions include Project Manager at Tesla, where new automated production lines were developed, and at Lennox-Gentle Automation, where leadership in engineering projects was demonstrated. Sean's career began in the Army Special Forces as a Non-Commissioned Officer, managing construction projects and leading teams of skilled craftsmen. Sean holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico School of Engineering.
