Crystal Stairs
Stephen Roberts is currently a Board Member at Crystal Stairs. Prior to that, they were the Assistant Controller at Skid Row Housing Trust from June 2017 to June 2021. In that role, they oversaw the daily functions of the accounting department, including Accounts Payable, Property Management Company and Corporate accounting teams. Stephen was also responsible for hiring, training and supervising accounting staff. Stephen prepared and reviewed the scheduling of Property Accountants to ensure reporting timeliness for internal and external users. Stephen also planned and coordinated annual financial audits with auditors and Asset management. Yardi Systems administrator and bank relationship adminstrator.
Before Skid Row Housing Trust, Stephen was the Regional Accounting Director at The John Stewart Company from May 2004 to June 2017.
Stephen Roberts has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Los Angeles.
