Enrique González Paredes is a Scientific Software Engineer at CSCS since July 2018, focusing on the development of tools and libraries for scientific computing within the Exascale initiative in weather and climate modeling. Previously, Enrique served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Zurich from September 2016 to June 2018, specializing in analysis and visualization techniques for dense multidimensional data. Earlier roles at the University of Zurich included developing scalable load balancing techniques for parallel rendering and co-organizing workshops for collaborative research projects. Enrique initiated a research career as a Research Assistant at the University of Santiago de Compostela, contributing to real-time rendering methods. Additional experience includes IT systems administration in both public and private sectors. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, a DEA in Image and Language Computing from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, and a Computer Engineering degree from Universidade da Coruña.
