Prashanth Kanduri is a Research Software Engineer at the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre in Zürich since April 2017, focusing on high-performance scientific simulation software for collaborative research projects across Switzerland and Europe. In addition to this role, Prashanth serves as a Curator & Organizer for Kaleido, a trans-disciplinary retreat collective established from networks at ETH Zürich. Previous experience includes a Master Thesis at ABB on a project enhancing simulation frameworks, and research roles at ETH Zürich, the Indian Institute of Technology, and National Aerospace Laboratories, where skills in software development, computational geometry, and fluid dynamics were acquired. Prashanth holds a Master's degree in Computational Science and Engineering from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.

The centre collaborates with domestic and foreign researchers, and carries out its own research in scientific computing. Located in Lugano, in the southern, Italian-speaking part of Switzerland, CSCS is an autonomous unit of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich).
