James Snyder

James Snyder has had an extensive career in the technology industry. James has worked as a Chief Architect at DISCO since 2018, leading the Office of the Chief Architect and managing various areas of ownership. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Architect at Civitas Learning, where they focused on translating complex business needs into continuous data collection and processing systems. Before that, James was the CTO at 21CT, providing technology vision and product roadmap for their flagship product line. James has also held roles at UnboundID Corp., Hyper9, 21st Century Technologies, Coremetrics, Trilogy, Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Labs, and InterSpec, LLC, where they gained experience in engineering management, product development, and research.

James Snyder's education history includes a PhD in Computational Design from Carnegie Mellon University, completed from 1993 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained an MS in Computational Design from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 1992-1993, and another MS in Computer Science from the same institution in 1991-1992. James'sBachelor of Science degree in Computer Science was completed at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1984 to 1991. James also obtained a certification in HIPAA for Business Associates in May 2014 from HIPAA Exams.
