Sonja Duric

Sonja Duric is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in cloud engineering and DevOps. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at DISCO since April 2023, Sonja previously held roles at MongoDB, including Team Lead for Atlas Data Lake/Federation Storage. At BlueLabs, Sonja was promoted from Lead Engineer to Director of Engineering, where significant contributions included improving data-related operations and enhancing system performance. Sonja's earlier experience encompasses leadership and engineering roles at LiveSafe, Thinkful, and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, with a substantial focus on software development, team management, and process optimization. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Sonja also holds further education from SANS Technology Institute.
