Tom joined CSI in 1999 as assistant general counsel, responsible for litigation, bankruptcy and collection matters, along with lease contract preparation. In 2001, as CSI began its global expansion, he moved to the UK where he assumed the role of assistant general manager to oversee the company’s newly established subsidiary. While in the UK, Tom established valuable vender and funding relationships and expanded the customer base. He moved back to the U.S. in 2003, becoming vice president of acquisitions and internal operations, a role he held until 2010 when he relocated to Singapore to manage CSI’s Asia Pacific region. In 2016, Tom became chief compliance officer and is responsible for ensuring that CSI and its employees are complying with applicable external regulations and internal policies. In 2021, Tom formed CSI’s ESG committee and currently leads all related initiatives. Prior to CSI, Tom was an attorney at Lathrop & Gage LLP and Thompson Coburn LLP. He received a Juris Doctorate from Washington University in 1993 and a bachelor’s degree in history from William Jewell College in 1990.
