Associate Fellow at CSIS

Japhet Quitzon is a Research Associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), focusing on the Southeast Asia Program, with experience managing programmatic operations and supporting research initiatives. Japhet has also held various roles including Program Manager and Research Assistant at the Scholl Chair in International Business, and currently serves as a Young Leader for the Pacific Forum. Previous positions include Research Assistant at Occidental College, teaching assistant at Chandler School, and Laboratory Assistant at Sunrise Diagnostic Laboratory. Japhet holds a degree in International Relations and Affairs with a focus on East Asian Studies from Connecticut College and has contributed to publications and research on Southeast Asian geopolitics and sociopolitical issues.
