Allister Paterson's work experience includes positions at various companies in the transportation and travel industries. Allister served as the EVP & Chief Commercial Officer at The CSL Group Inc., overseeing the company's self-unloading vessels division. Prior to that, they were the EVP & Chief Operating Officer at the same company and President of Canada Steamship Lines. At Finnair, they held the position of Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for revenue management and various subsidiaries. Allister also served as the Chairman, CEO, and President of Seaway Marine Transport, Canada's largest marine freight company, before it merged into Algoma Central Corp. Additionally, they were the President and CEO of Air Canada Vacations and the Executive General Manager of Commercial at Air New Zealand. Allister started their career at Canadian Airlines, where they held the positions of Vice President Sales and Vice President Marketing.
Allister Paterson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Arizona State University. Allister attended this institution from 1978 to 1982. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at Western University, where they earned a Masters degree in Business Administration. This program took place from 1983 to 1986.
