Ajay Menon has held various roles throughout their career. Ajay started in 1991 at Colorado State University as a Professor of Marketing and later became the Dean of the College of Business. Ajay also served as the Associate Dean and Director of the Colorado Agriculture Experiment Station. In 2011, they briefly worked for the State of Colorado as the Chief Innovation Officer. In 2015, Menon took on the role of Dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences and continued to hold this position until 2019. In 2019, they became the President/CEO of the Colorado State University Research Foundation (CSURF).
Ajay Menon completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai in 1982. Ajay then pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Marketing from the University of North Texas between 1986 and 1991.
