Ricardo Torres

Ricardo Torres is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and raw materials management within the coal and steel industries. Currently serving as a Senior Sales Manager at CSX since June 2019, Ricardo focuses on the Coal Group for Utilities. Prior to this role, Ricardo held various positions at United States Steel Corporation, culminating in a Senior Account Manager role where responsibilities included managing raw material procurement and overseeing the annual RFP process. Earlier roles also included managing logistics for over 2 million tons of metallurgical coke and driving significant cost savings through strategic coordination. Ricardo's background is complemented by leadership experience in international organizational strategy at Circle K International and a solid educational foundation, holding a Bachelor of Science in Energy Business and Finance from Penn State University and an MBA in Finance from Strayer University.
