Rusty Orben

Rusty Orben is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government affairs and public policy. Currently serving as the Resident Vice President at CSX since 2007, Rusty manages State Government and Community Affairs, providing strategic advice to senior corporate leadership on legislative and political matters. Prior roles include Director of State Relations and Director of Public Affairs for Bush-Cheney '04, and Associate Director of Government Affairs at the US Department of Transportation, where Rusty coordinated policies related to rail and maritime issues. Rusty's early career highlights include serving as Legislative Liaison for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and as a Legislative Aide in the Ohio Senate. Rusty holds an M.B.A. and an M.A. in Public Policy from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Economy from Hillsdale College.
