Sean Michnowski began their work experience in 2010 at NASA Goddard/Wallops Flight Facility, where they worked as a PCB Schematic/Layout/Firmware Designer. Sean was responsible for designing a motor-control circuit board and a resolver interface circuit board for balloon-borne telescopes.
In 2011, Sean worked as a Robotics Software Simulation Engineer at JPL (NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory) where they implemented FPGA co-processor in Verilog for multi-link forward/inverse kinematics. Sean also developed a USB2.0 interface for offloading computationally intensive tasks to the FPGA board.
In 2012, Sean joined MIT Lincoln Laboratory as an Electrical/Software Engineer. Their role involved designing a multi-channel synchronous RF recording system and schematics for multi-layer mixed RF/analog/digital PCBs. Sean also worked on grid computing and C implementation of DSP algorithms.
In 2014, Sean worked for Chesapeake Technology International Corp as a Software Engineer. No specific job descriptions were provided for this role.
Sean Michnowski attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering.
