Jan Kubicek is a seasoned professional in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology with significant expertise in protein expression, purification, and crystallization, particularly of membrane proteins. As the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Cube Biotech since August 2013, Jan Kubicek leads business development, laboratory management, and quality control efforts. Previous roles include Senior Scientist positions at CSSB, DESY Hamburg and QIAGEN, as well as a leadership position in R&D and production at Dr. Fooke Laboratorien. Academic achievements include a summa cum laude doctorate in Biology/Biophysics and a Diplom in Genetics/Microbiology, supplemented by vocational training as a certified biological-technical assistant.
