Rick Kramer

Rick Kramer, AIA, currently serves as Managing Principal at Cumming Group since May 2003 and has held an adjunct professor position in Civil Engineering at San Jose State University since August 2007, teaching graduate-level courses in Civil Engineering and Construction Management. As President of RGM Kramer, Inc. from May 2003 to March 2024 and President of Kramer Project Development Company, Inc. until August 2019, Rick managed construction programs for public sector clients. Previously, Rick was President of Blach Construction Management LLC, overseeing bond construction programs for public school districts, and served as Housing Capital Improvement Program Manager at Stanford University, managing residence hall capital construction. Military experience includes serving as a Naval Officer in the United States Navy Civil Engineer Corps, focusing on facilities and construction management. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Construction Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Architecture from North Dakota State University.
