John Drennan

John leads global mergers and acquisitions for Cumming Group, working closely with senior management, institutional investors, and our board of directors to execute the firm’s long-term strategic plan. Since joining the firm in 2017, John and his team have successfully acquired and integrated 11 project management, cost management and building surveying consultancies located in the U.S., UK, and Ireland. Throughout John’s 24-year career in private equity, leveraged buyout finance, and corporate development, John has invested a cumulative $1.6 billion in capital in more than 40 private companies. Prior to entering the M&A industry, John was a Certified Public Accountant in the audit group of an international accounting firm. John received his MBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University and his BBA in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma.
