Riya Sareen

Riya Sareen is an experienced Electronic Hardware Technical Specialist currently employed at Cummins Inc. since June 2022, following a role as an Electronics Hardware Engineer. Prior experience includes an internship at Stoneridge, where significant contributions involved bench testing a Controller Area Network module and evaluating retrofit installation scenarios. Riya's background also includes circuit design and testing for space applications during a research assistantship at the University of Michigan and extensive work on spacecraft instrumentation at Virginia Tech, focusing on ion source design and development of advanced systems for aerospace applications. An education in Electrical and Electronics Engineering culminated in a Master of Science from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech, supplemented by practical internships in product validation and semiconductor research.
