Wole Akinyemi

Wole Akinyemi is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in advanced engineering and technology development. Currently serving as Executive Director for Advanced Engineering at Cummins Inc., Wole leads a team of 150 engineers focused on product design, performance development, and electrification systems. Previously, Wole held pivotal roles at GE, including Senior Product Manager for Emergent Technologies, where strategy and operations for gas power technology were defined, as well as Research Development Program Manager overseeing a $17M budget. Wole's early career at Cummins involved developing combustion and performance solutions for heavy-duty products, while academic credentials include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
