Liz Kern

Liz Kern is an experienced journalist and media professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the KMJ Anchor and Reporter at Cumulus Media since November 2013, Liz is responsible for anchoring and producing newscasts focused on the Central Valley while engaging with audiences through social media. Prior to this role, Liz held positions as an Account Executive at both Cumulus Media and Peak Broadcasting, and worked as an Indie Consultant at Kern Media, providing PR and media direction to businesses. Additional experience includes serving as Associate Editor at Fresno Magazine, Marketing Coordinator at El Paso Zoo, and Anchor at KDBC TV. Liz holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California.
