Melanie Gardner is an accomplished academic and media professional with extensive experience in communication and journalism. Currently serving as a Professor, Academic Advisor, and Club Advisor at Penn State University since 2012, Melanie has also been an On-Air Personality at Cumulus Media since 2004. Previous roles include Adjunct Professor of Speech Communications at Harrisburg Area Community College, Multimedia Journalist and Host at WPMT Fox 43, and various positions in broadcasting and reporting at organizations such as WGAL TV, WHP 580, and Traffax. Melanie holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Communication from Liberty University and a Master of Science in Communication Studies, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Journalism, both from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
