Matthew Harrell

Matthew Harrell has extensive experience in government relations and advocacy, currently serving as Vice President of Government Relations at Curaleaf since January 2018. Prior roles include Government Relations Manager at McDonald's Corporation and Governmental Relations Specialist for the North Carolina School Boards Association, where Matthew coordinated legislative advocacy efforts and managed communication with legislators. Earlier experience as a lobbyist at The Policy Group involved relationship building with elected officials and developing tailored legislative strategies. Matthew also held various positions in campaign management and leadership within political contexts, including significant roles in campaigns for the North Carolina House and U.S. Congress. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Elon University.
