Jeff Stillson

Jeff Stillson is a seasoned data scientist and AI engineer currently serving as the Principal Data Scientist / AI Engineer at Curriculum Associates, focusing on leveraging Generative AI technologies for business and product development. Previously, Jeff worked as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Standard AI, leading the development of ML algorithms for automatic item recognition in streaming video data to enhance shopping experiences. Jeff's extensive career at Leidos as the Director of Computer Vision and Machine Learning involved managing a team to create software for real-time detection of explosives and weapons using advanced imaging techniques. Additional roles included Senior Software Engineer at Textron Defense Systems, where vehicle classification algorithms were developed, and research positions at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and IBM Watson Research Lab, contributing to pioneering work in automatic classification and speech recognition. Jeff holds both a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
