Renée Richards is the current Vice President and General Counsel at Cuyahoga Community College. Prior to their current position, they served as a partner at Roetzel & Andress from November 2007 to December 2012 where they were public finance associate. Renée has also worked as an associate at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey from November 2000 to November 2007 and as a legal associate at Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP from January 1992 to October 2000. Throughout their career, Ms. Richards has served as Bond Counsel, Underwriter's Counsel, Bank Counsel, Issuer and Borrower Counsel on numerous tax-exempt financings and public-private debt offerings. Renée has also been responsible for compliance with SEC regulations, IRS tax regulations and state and local government regulations.

Renée Richards first attended Cleveland State University - Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where they received their Juris Doctor. Renée then pursued a Masters Business Administration at Cleveland State University. Finally, they received their Doctor of Law - JD from Cleveland State University - Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in the field of Business/Commerce, General. Renée is also certified as a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) from the Accountancy Board Of Ohio.
