Leanne Almond OBE has an extensive work experience that spans over several years and includes various roles in different organizations. Leanne also held key positions at the UK Home Office, where they worked as a Programme Director for EU Exit Serious Organized Crime and later as a Deputy Director and Head of Data Policy. These roles involved overseeing change programs, setting up governance structures, and developing data protection policies.
Furthermore, Leanne had notable stints at HM Revenue & Customs, where they served as a Deputy Director of IT Delivery, overseeing the Enterprise Data Hub Data Exploitation Programme. Leanne also worked as an IT Programme Manager and a Chief of Staff.
Earlier in their career, Leanne gained experience at HM Treasury as a VAT Policy Advisor and at HM Revenue and Customs in various roles, including Operations Team Leader, Project Manager, Chief of Staff, and Operations Manager.
Overall, Leanne Almond OBE possesses a diverse and well-rounded work experience, particularly in the areas of data management, digital operations, and program leadership.
Leanne Almond OBE pursued their higher education at the University of Worcester from 1999 to 2002. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management with History. Prior to their university studies, Leanne attended Plymouth High School for Girls, where they also focused on Business Management with History.
