Mike Doherty

Mike Doherty has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mike is currently the Director of Product at CyberSmart, where they lead the development of an all-in-one cybersecurity and insurance solution for small and medium-sized businesses. Prior to this role, Mike worked as a Product Coach at Product Leaders, providing coaching and facilitation on product vision, strategy, and ways of working. Mike also served as a ProductTank Organiser at Mind the Product, organizing events for Product Managers in Milton Keynes. Earlier in their career, Mike held positions such as VP of Product at orgvue and Director of Product Management at WorkForce Software. Mike also has experience in consulting, agile coaching, and project management at Workplace Systems and Mouchel (WSP). Mike's work experience also includes roles at Network Rail and BP. Additionally, they worked as a Private Electric Bass Tutor, offering personalized lessons and practice regimes to students of all ages and skill levels.

Mike Doherty attended Birmingham Conservatoire from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a HeCertificate in Jazz. In 2011 and 2012, they studied at Milton Keynes College and earned a CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing. Additional certifications include Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) from Scrum Alliance in 2018, LeSS Certified Practitioner from LeSS.works in 2017, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in 2016, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in 2015, and a Professional Certificate in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2012. Mike also holds a Certificate in Project Fundamentals Qualification from the Association for Project Management.
