Robert M. serves as General Counsel and Intellectual Property Counsel at Cybin Inc., overseeing key pharmaceutical contracts involving multiple clinical trials and regulatory strategies. Previously, Robert provided outside counsel to Adelia Therapeutics prior to its acquisition by Cybin. With a strong legal background in pharmaceutical and life sciences law, Robert has also held roles as Associate General Counsel at Micelle BioPharma and as General Counsel at Applied Food Technologies. Robert has extensive experience in mentoring startups as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Florida and has a history in economic development for the life sciences sector. Robert holds a Juris Doctor (JD) cum laude, an MBA in Management and Entrepreneurship, and multiple advanced degrees in molecular genetics and pharmacology, coupled with a foundational background in genetics and chemistry.
